Happy day after Thanksgiving! After two turkey meals (one in Sterling with Grandma, my uncle's family, and my own immediate clan, and one in Amesbury with the Fahey crew), I'm pretty stuffed. I should head to the gym, but it's quite cold here at 12 Woodlawn Street, with snow expected this afternoon.... Maybe it'll be okay to spend the day indoors by the fire.

The wedding is three weeks away! I think we're in good shape, but I'm sure that this and that detail will come undone in the coming weeks, just in time to make that last week a crazy one. But we've picked some reception music, have formalized the program, and are meeting with the photographer tomorrow. And, to drive home the point that the wedding is drawing nigh, Saturday is Sarah's Hingham wedding shower!

In the law school realm, the semester is drawing to a close. I still have a will and trust to write, a computer crime exam to take, two days left of incoporating new businesses and closing some cases in Jamaica Plain, and a few more classes to attend, but my Environmental Law Review and BSA duties have wound down. Just as a camera might pan across a stage, the focus is shifting from the academic to the nuptial, and fast. And much to my delight, the nuptial includes the holiday. As Christmas motifs multiply around us, I feel a little better about this mostly scroogish and war-mongerish country.
